TML Mission Statement

Touching Miami With Love’s mission is to share the love of Christ by offering hope, opportunities, and resources for individuals and families.

Christ Centered – we are committed to

  • Biblically guided and prayer-centered ministry.
  • Expressing through words and actions the love of Jesus Christ. Our work is social action and evangelical proclamation.

  • Investing the time to stay spiritually directed.

Our Primary Focus of Ministry

TML’s primary focus is Overtown.  Overtown is a small inner-city community of 12,000 people in the midst of metropolitan Miami-Dade (2.3 million). This area is often cited as the poorest community in the State of Florida.

The community is plagued with many consequences of poverty including high crime, drug trafficking and use, high teenage pregnancy rate, single parent families, substandard housing, failed education and lack of quality activities.
