The Christmas list...all kids love to make them as the holidays approach yet, whatever the wish, mom and dad may not be able to afford it. And nothing hurts more than the inability to provide their own special memories for their children.
That’s why we started a new tradition that’s built on dignity, not dependency. We call it The Christmas Store.
This program, founded in 1983 by an urban ministry in Atlanta, is simple in concept, yet extremely rewarding to both parents and children in need. Parents are blessed with the gift of choosing those gifts their children are requesting and giving to their children. The children are blessed with a Christmas gift actually from their parents. And the program provides a meaningful way for the more fortunate to donate children’s gifts during the Christmas season. The program has been replicated by urban ministries across the country and Touching Miami with Love has been hosting a Christmas Store since 2003.
Instead of giving a gift directly to a needy child, donate new toys for children of all ages, to The Christmas Store. We will sell them - not give them - to working parents who can afford to pay a small price. Thanks for your role in giving the gift of dignity this Christmas season.

In keeping with our community-based efforts, The Christmas Store is only offered to Overtown residents with TML participants receiving priority.
To encourage the importance of education, we like to send our students off to class the first day with all the tools they'll need to succeed. We close out our summer programs each year with a party, parent meeting and backpack distribution.

Free Tax Preparation Assistance
Folks work hard for their money and Touching Miami with Love offers an opportunity for families and individuals to get 100% of their refund through our free tax preparation services with our staff of IRS certified tax specialists.
To find out how you can use your skills to become trained to take part in our Tax Preparation Services, please email Angel Pittman or call 305-416-0435, ext. 203. This program runs January-April.
