ToMorrow’s Leaders & Emerging Leaders
Touching Miami with Love works with children Kindergarten through 8th grade to improve educational competence, to provide creative and recreational activities, and to nurture and mentor children through loving relationships.
Out of School Program
August through May, Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 6:00pm
ToMorrow’s Leaders- Kindergarten to 5th Grade
Emerging Leaders- 6th to 8th Grade
All day programming 8:00am-6:00pm most Teacher Planning Days and Spring Break Camp.
Includes:
- Healthy Snack
- Homework Help Daily
- Literature and Reading Instruction
- Social Skills Training
- Computer
- Artistic Expression: Dance, Drama, and the Visual Arts
- Physical Fitness
- Field Trips
ToMorrow’s Leaders Summer Camp
2012 dates to be set.
- Open to children ages 5-14 in the Overtown community.
- Children participate in a variety of activities that stimulate the spirit, mind and body including Fitness, Literature, Creative Arts, Social Skills, Structured Free Time and Computer.
- Weekly field trips.
- Breakfast and Lunch included.
The Children’s Trust generously funds the ToMorrow’s Leaders programs.
