Volunteer Teams in the School Year
Interested in bringing a group out to volunteer during the school year with Touching Miami with Love?
We can work with your group to set up a one day service project or work with you on housing to bring your team down to Miami for a few days of service to a full week.

One Day Service Projects
We host group service projects on Saturdays throughout the year to help with painting, maintenance, special projects, and outreach.
Service Project Agreement
This needs to be completed and turned into TML for all group requesting to do a ONE day service project with TML.
Release and Parent Permission Form
This needs to be completed by ALL participants for one day service projects or longer.
Fall and Spring Volunteer Team Service
We host 2 fall week-long groups and 2 spring groups a year to do service projects as well as work in our children’s program. We welcome churches, college groups, and families to serve with us.
We always look for a group help us host Spring Break Camp for our kids in the ToMorrow’s Leaders Program. Spring Break for 2011 is set for March 14-18, 2011.
Group housing is already booked for the Youth Center for March 13- March 19 to accomidate our Spring Break Camp group.
Application for Group Service
This needs to be completed and turned into TML for all groups requesting to do service with TML for more than one day.

For Groups Working in our Children’s Programs
Attestation_of_Good_Moral_Character-Child_Care
This needs to be completed by ALL participants working in our children’s program for one day, a week, or as a long-term volunteer.
Fingerprinting Services Directions
All volunteers working with our children’s program MUST go through a fingerprint background screening. This form provides the directions for that process. Fees paid by group.
VECHS Waiver
This form must be completed and mailed back to TML with completed fingerprint card and fees for background check to be processed.

Cost
There is usually no cost for participating in our one day service projects.
For overnight trips, groups can expect to pay about $10-$15/night/per person for group housing and a small administrative fee to Touching Miami with Love.
If your group is working with children, possible costs include field trip entrance fees and TML t-shirt (mandetory for all volunteers attending field trips with our children).
PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT HOST GROUPS OVER CHRISTMAS BREAK TO GIVE OUR STAFF TIME OFF WITH THEIR FAMILIES.
